We have just been made aware of an incident where a TV Licensing goon extracted information from a courier delivering a package to the property they were visiting.
When questioned by the TV Licensing goon, the courier confirmed the name of the occupier as typed on the label of the package.
TV Licensing goons should not be seeking personal data from third parties; third parties should not be divulging personal information to TV Licensing goons.

In the past we have heard tales of TV Licensing goons rummaging through wheelie bins in an effort to gather intelligence on unlicensed properties. For that reasons we'd encourage people to keep their bins secure and ensure that documents bearing personal information are obliterated prior to disposal.
We know that TV Licensing goons do not obey the usual rules of society, so we'd encourage the occupiers of unlicensed properties to be vigilant and wise to TV Licensing tricks.
TV Licensing goons cannot be trusted under any circumstances.
